The Political Network for Values (PNfV) will present next Friday, May 28, in its Transatlantic Dialogues webinar series two successful political initiatives in defense of human life in the period of gestation: the Heartbeat Bill that is being promoted in the United States, and the ban on abortion for malformed fetuses in Poland.
At the event, to be held online, Iowa State Senator Amy Sinclair will address the origin, impact and expansion of the law in the United States, which guarantees the protection of the life of unborn babies from the very moment heartbeat can be detected.
Polish MP Piotr Uscinski, President of the Parliamentary Group for Life and Family, will detail how they limited the current national legislation on abortion as legislators by filing an appeal before the Constitutional Court.
The moderator will be the Spanish Ignacio Arsuaga, Founder and President of the citizen platform CitizenGo and member of the PNfV Board of Directors.
After the presentations by Sinclair and Uscinski there will be an open dialogue with the participants: politicians, ministers, legislators, judges and political party leaders from various countries.
Transatlantic Dialogues is a space for the exchange of ideas and analysis among political representatives of countries in Europe, America and Africa who promote and defend life, family and fundamental freedoms.
Usually, two or three speakers present their starting points for the discussion and then a colloquium is opened for the participating politicians. Others, who share the same values participate as listeners.
